BENEFITS
HMS (Heavy Melting Scrap) is one of the most widely traded ferrous scrap grades, and it’s the backbone of steady, high-volume supply to mills and recyclers across the GCC. MetalCo sources HMS 1 and HMS 2 from industrial sites, demolition projects, and plant decommissioning, giving buyers a consistent, well-graded feedstock they can build production schedules around.

FEATURES
HMS 1 consists of clean, unalloyed steel scrap with a minimum thickness typically above 6mm and free of excessive coating, rust, or contamination. HMS 2 includes lighter-gauge material and items with a higher tolerance for coatings or minor corrosion. We sort and grade both classes on-site before loading, keeping contamination low and moisture and non-metallic content within standard trade tolerances. Available in truckload or container-load volumes, with custom grading on request.

BENEFITS
Shredded steel scrap offers mills a dense, uniform, low-contaminant input that feeds directly into the melt with minimal further processing. MetalCo processes end-of-life vehicles, appliances, and mixed ferrous scrap through shredding to produce a consistent, high-density product suited to EAF and induction furnace operations.

FEATURES
Our shredded scrap is magnetically separated to remove non-ferrous contaminants and reduce residual copper and other tramp elements. Bulk density and piece size are kept within standard mill specifications, and material is screened to control fines content. Supplied in bulk truckload or container-load quantities, with export documentation prepared for cross-border shipments.

Structural steel scrap — recovered from demolition, plant dismantling, and construction rework — gives buyers a heavier, predictable-gauge ferrous input well suited to structural and rebar production. MetalCo recovers this material through our demolition and industrial asset recovery services, so supply is tied directly to active project pipelines rather than open-market sourcing alone.

FEATURES
Material includes beams, plates, channels, and other structural sections, cut and sized to standard charging lengths on request. We inspect and segregate by grade and gauge before loading, removing attachments, coatings, and non-ferrous fittings where required. Available in bulk with custom sorting and cutting specifications, plus full export documentation support.
